VFX: looping previews + emitter graphs

VFX generation ships in beta. Describe an effect — fire, smoke, sparks, water, energy, portals — and get a seamlessly looping animated preview plus an emitter graph (JSON) with a field-by-field mapping to Niagara and VFX Graph. Fire and smoke are temperature-driven with curl-noise turbulence.

    A viewer worth living in

The generation viewport is now a full scene: your result stands on the Orbie stage with a real shadow, orbit and zoom navigation, five lighting presets (studio, daylight, sunset, night, flat), wireframe and normals display modes, and ground options. Everything you generate lands in a world, not a void.

    Skybox exports: HDRI, cubemap, Roblox-ready

Every skybox now downloads as an equirect PNG, a true 32-bit HDRI (.hdr), a standard six-face cubemap, or a Roblox-ready cubemap with the face naming a Sky object expects. Cubemaps are supersampled and seam-checked.

Multi-view Image to 3D + full parameter surface

Image to 3D accepts up to four views (front, back, left, right) for higher-fidelity reconstruction. Text to 3D exposes the complete surface: free polycount, quad topology, texture and PBR toggles, HD texture pass, seeds, real-world scale, and part separation.

Terrain previews that look like terrain

Terrain results now render as shaded-relief material previews — elevation-banded, slope-aware, with layered rock stratification on steep faces — instead of raw grey heightmaps. The 16-bit data you export is unchanged; how you judge it got dramatically better.

    The motion suite grows up

Video to Motion traces a clip from your reference footage. The loop tool turns any clip into a seamless cycle. Walk & run cycles pick from 112 live locomotion styles — from confident strides to zombie shuffles — with gait, direction, and stride control.

    Rig & animate any model

One click auto-rigs a generated model (T-pose, standard skeleton — bipeds, quadrupeds, birds, serpents, aquatics and more), and preset clips retarget straight onto the fresh rig. Model to moving character without leaving the studio.

    Unlimited generations. Lanes, not credits.

Credits are gone. Pro and Studio are unlimited — what you buy is concurrency (parallel lanes per capability), downloads, and priority compute. New customers get $10 off their first month, applied automatically at checkout.

    Orbie 1.0

The three pillars go GA: production-grade 3D models, retargetable motion, and 8K skyboxes with true HDRI. One studio, one prompt box, engine-ready output.

    Export everything

Model exports cover GLTF, USDZ, FBX, OBJ, STL and 3MF with selectable texture sizes up to 4K. Motion clips add FBX and BVH alongside GLB. No engine questionnaire — you get every format we can emit.

    Skybox engine v2

Skies render at up to 8K equirect with a matched true 32-bit HDRI for image-based lighting, supersampled and downscaled for clean gradients. Prompted time-of-day is now authoritative — write “midnight” and you will get midnight.

    Projects, libraries, recents

The studio grew real project management: create, rename, and delete projects; every asset lands in a per-project library with previews, specs, and downloads in one place.

    Terrain enters beta

Text to terrain: 16-bit heightmaps (PNG + raw r16), a textured mesh, and normal + splat control maps. Heightmap grids size themselves to your target engine — 1009 for Unreal landscapes, 1025 for Unity terrains, 1024 for power-of-two pipelines.

    Passwordless sign-in

Login is now a magic link or a six-digit code — both in one email, no passwords to leak. Sessions persist properly across visits and expire only after long inactivity.

    Motion quality pass

Text to Motion gained foot planting (no more skating), a quality dial (diffusion steps), and prompt-adherence control. Defaults are tuned for output quality rather than latency.

Image to 3D + art styles

Turn a reference image into a textured mesh, and steer any generation with art styles — from clay and steampunk to voxel and gold. Stylize, retexture, split-to-parts and low-poly transforms land alongside.

    3D model generation opens

Text to 3D in beta: clean topology, PBR materials, UVs, optional T-pose for characters. GLB downloads from day one.

    Studio alpha, second wave

A larger invite wave into the studio alpha. Skybox generation quality pass, faster previews, and the first version of the prompt router that turns plain requests into the right generator.

    Hello, Orbie

First private alpha. One prompt box, procedural skies, and a conviction: game-ready assets should be describable. Everything since has been about earning that sentence.
